One of those stations listed on Sinclair's site is in my area, but I'm certain that I watched that controversial ABC Nightline roll call program on that very same channel. I wonder if it's just a recommendation from Sinclair to the local manager, or what?

The financial complexities of this are really one of the more frightening and convulted aspects of this campaign.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1240574/posts ShockedConfused

There ARE legitimate grass-roots groups (on both sides), and there should be! However, it's also here that everything becomes more complex and there again...convuleted!

You want for everyone to get out, state their minds...and cast something of a meaningful stance for Life & Liberty. Who doesn't? But then there are the power-players with big money (which is so often attributed to the stereo typical conservative [which I am not]). The mainstream media, hollywood and a WHOOOLE LOT of Ketchup Wink are stoking all the boilers on this one, Folks!

I just hope that these ads will continue to get as much "air time" (tv, radio, press and / or word-of-mouth) as possible, and its in this that we have the greatest chance of meeting this finacial onslaught properly...

John Kerry (and his unwitting sidekick Sen. Gone [from my state, unfortunately]) is a grave threat...not just as the democratic candidate, but as the man...the who left his men...and then proceded to call them criminals!

My $0.02...form your own opinions! Very Happy

I guess Mr. Wade has never heard of George Soros, Farenheit 9-11 and Michael Moore? Funny I never heard even a whimper out of any Kerry supporter over them.

I wish that the title of this thread were more 'telling' about the content of the thread.....This is such wonderful, HUGH news and I missed it completely and actually posted it on the end of another thread. I'm horrible about searches, but the pro-Kerry's are furious.

Just my 2 cents,
Kimberly

Wow, that was quick, thanks to the early riser who made the change!

I am so excited about getting to see this on television. Let's just hope that some group doesn't file some sort of litigation to keep it from airing. If they can find any way to stop it, I'm afraid they will.

I keep reading about an October surprise. Could this be it? It will follow the debates and I'm thirilled about it, but wondering if I should be looking for something else....i.e., something to come directly from SBVT?

This is great - I just looked up that station here in Mpls. and it's KMWB TV23, Ch. 8. I've never watched this channel - seems to have local items on it and 1/2 hr sitcoms & misc. If they will "interrupt" programming "some time" between Oct 21 & 24 -- how is one to know when the program will be on? I'm going to send them a note.... But seeing this is a tiny, side-channel, so to speak, doesn't seem like it will reach much of an audience here in Minnesota, and for that the dems are going nuts...

I don't know how to create a shorter name for a link yet, but I just wanted to add this.

Personally, between the ABC news memo that got leaked and shows the bias once again

('SLANTED' ABC TAKES THE HEAT "-http://www.nypost.com/news/nationalnews/30015.htm )
and this:
'Fahrenheit 9/11' Team Seeks Election-Eve Pay-TV
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&ncid=762&e=1&u=/nm/20041009/en_nm/campaign_fahrenheit_dc

I'd say this is FAIR game.

The f 9/11 will be PPV. The only people who are going to pay to watch that crap are Kool-Aid drinkers anyway. Stolen Honer will get alot of channel surfers, people just curious, Vets who may be leaning to kerry and so on.

This could be very important to Central Ohio. Sinclair owns two stations here WSYX (ABC) and WTTE (FOX). I'm lucky, I will be able to watch it twice! Very Happy I e-mailed the local ABC & Fox affiliate to see if they had a definite time for the documentary, expressed my interest, and thanked them. I'm really hoping the Kerry Campaign does not find a way to block this somehow.

I Just received the Stolen Honor DVD in the mail yesterday and watched it with my husband last night. It was VERY powerful! I actually got 2 copies, one to pass around and one to keep.
I think the reason the F/911 is on ppv is just another way for Michael Moore-on to make "moore" money. That IS his bottom line. He is nothing "moore" than a sensationalist who has "moore" care for himself than any other person.

So let's see, we have two of the major networks essentially admitting to being hugely biased towards Kerry, but 14 local affiliates (and we're not talking NY or California here, folks) run something unflatting to Kerry and it's "beyond yellow journalism."

Good for Sinclair.

not only that , CNN and MSNBC have been running Kerry specials for at least the laslt week (on the wkends) --- I bet it goes on thru 11/2 !!!

I got to see the Koppel thing last spring (or whenever) but according to the map, I won't get to see this ! oh, well, better for swing voters to see it... but we do have some of those in AZ!

I will still call them on Monday to thank them AND send them a thank you note!
