In four months, Kerry was awarded (not earned) 3 Purple Hearts, 1 Silver Star (with a nonexistant V for Valor) and 1 Bronze Star.

At that rate, in a normal one year, he should have been awarded 9 purple Hearts, 3 Silver Stars (all with V for Valor) and 3 Bronze Stars.

If he stayed for 2 tours (wait a minute, he did claim 2 tours) he should have 18 Purple Hearts, 6 Silver Stars and 6 Bronze Stars.

What a Guy! No wonder he considers himself a war hero.

In reality, since all of these were a result his writing the After Action Reports, he should have been awarded the Nobel Prize for writing fiction instead.

This is the problem I can't understand--how can a veteran vote for this man, I mean, 3 Purple Hearts and not one minute of missed duty, give me a break!

Actually he is not stupid, but rather a cold, calculating, conniving, soul less weasel of a man. The truth may never get told about Kerry and his medical records unless someone gets a court order approved for that to happen.

am no saint myself and no doupt could freeze under fire (have never seen combat, had been in the navy on a sub tender) but this guy is using smoke and mirrors and the emotions of the voters to maintain his poll status. too bad those were not legitimate wounds...he would be singing another tune...

Don Imus asked Kerry what his plan was for Iraq. Afterward he said "I"ve down in my office, banging my head on the jukebox. This is my candidate and I don't know what he just said."

That is because he can't say he is just going to cut and run.

Kerry also has said that he wants to get back to the days when terrorists were just a "nuisance". You know, like they were on Sept 10, 2001.
