I posted both parts in this section, but now I can't find the
first part, so perhaps admin deleted it thinking it was a dup OR
they don't want the first part here for whatever reason?
That's just fine with me, but I wrote that I would post
both parts, and I kept my word.
Or maybe I'm just going off the deep end...
Shocked

No doll - I just copied the link to the first part into a reply to your first message. Very Happy

Now, what's in the first part - is that more of John O'Neill whipping Ted Koppel's rug off and whipping him with it, or is part one the audio from the first part of the show?

I'm sorry...rough night. Part I is the first part of Nightline,
apx 15 mins long. Part II is the last 10 min of the same show;
this (Part II) is the part Ted "The Rug" Koppel interviews O'Neil.
I posted the second part first. Make sense?
I know, it reads like an Abbott & Costello schtick.

Shocked

Well, I loved the first one you posted - I missed all of that and now I wish I hadn't.

I do LOVE to see Ted Koppel put in his place. Haven't watched him in ages - like Kerry, himself, he just makes me nauseous.

But, it was great to hear John O'Neill stick it to him.

Is it just my imagination or was O'Neill mic'd lower than Koppel?

Easier to talk over people if your mic is a lot louder. Confused

Re: Navy_Navy_Navy

I do have a clean (no ads) MPEG video of the entire show, but it's
246MB. Now there are ways to archive and compress this type
of file (eg, a RAR archive), but most of the time a simple, Mono
audio mp3 file works fine.

I'm always blown away with John O'Neil; he's always cool and
collected. I don't care what anyone says: I want to be on
John O'Neal's side! Meanwhile, I was bouncing off the
walls while "The Rug" ranted about finding commie peasant-savants
with perfect, 35-year-old, photographic memories. I guess he's never
been to a legal deposition before. What a dufus. Rolling Eyes

HELP!!

I got the first part of Nighline, the intro, but the second part of Nightline, the part with John O'Neill is only 1 min 23 seconds long. It cuts off the interview with John O'Neill! Crying or Very sad

Is it my computer, or is the file cut somehow??

I have got to hear this! Crying or Very sad

I know - it was really funny!

You can buy a LOT of memory for cheap, these days! Wink Geesh, did Koppel did not know that this would be THE most easily questioned aspect of this stupid exercise in attempting to discredit Swifts?

And first, they weren't going to let ABC in and then all of a sudden, they changed their minds? How much did that cost?

Puh-leeeeze! Rolling Eyes

Go, Swiftees and POW's - you just keep getting your truth out wherever you have an audience. People are smarter than MSM gives them credit for being and you're being heard!

Re:Barbie2004

1. The Interview segment is apx 1.2M. Did you check its size?
2. Are you trying to listen as a stream or are you downloading it?
I would suggest you download it.
3. Try rebooting your PC , and then try again.
4. I just checked the mp3 and it IS all there.

Let us know!

Wink

To the question Ted kept pounding on, ie, "what possible motivation
would peasants have...?" If only O'Neal answered, "I don't know,
maybe you gave 'em a sandwich?" Laughing
