My father was with the 5TH Marines landing in the first waves on Iwo Jima in Feburary, 1945. He witnessed first hand the raising of the American flag, done by fellow Marines of his 28th Regiment. He is gone now but has said before and would say today that someone like John Kerry is trying to get elected by walking on the graves of better men killed in Vietnam. Dad EARNED his Purple Heart on day eight and was evacuated, healed up & expecting to hit Japan.
Fortunately, new technologies came along to stop that war.
He was a fan of Busn 41 and would have suported GWB 43.
AND he would, and probably is in Heaven, supporting the Swift Vets& POWs for TRUTH!
