The yankees loss tonight made major league basbeall history as the first time a team came from a 3-0 defeicit to win the series. The news is overshadowing the election and next weeks World Series is going to be tremendous. Will the Red Sox break the bambino curse, will they stink up the place? Meanwhile while all this is going on Kerry is trying to compete with it to rally his troops for nov 2. Lots of the younger anti Bush crowd have short attention spans and i think by election day at least a third or maybe even half will be so bored and annoyed with Kerry (i bet they are already) they lose all interest in voting for him. Republicans know how importanbt the election is (i hope so) so we will all need to make sure we vote and the Michael Moore crowd can wake up on nov 3 from their glue sniffing paint eating hangovers with a big look of shock on their stupid faces becuase they they lost !
Encourage your Bush hating friends to get interested in the world series and dont you forget to vote Bush on Nov 2.
PS
Did anyone hear on the Malzberg show tonight? He played a tape of an interview with Curt Schilling when he was talking about A-Rods play he corrected the announcer in saying the play wasnt Bushleague but it was Kerryleague and he cracked everyone up. _________________ John Kerry, R.I.P. Don't forget that most people in battleground New Jersey are hardcore Yankee fans and will be really upset with anyone who roots for the Red Sox (Kerry claims to be a huge Sox fan, even though he can't throw a pitch across the plate without bouncing it).

The sissy didnt even throw from the mound! And to top it all off, he made some excuse that the National Guard Member (I think thats who it was) wasnt able to handle it, so he threw it soft on purpose. Yeah, right, the Guard member was probably saying "Bring It On"!!! |

From The Kerry Spot: http://www.nationalreview.com/kerry/kerryspot.asp
Quote: | Kerry Spot reader "IQV" suggests, "a final head to head debate...right before Game 1. Three pitches each...from the mound! Except, Kerry can't go anywhere near Fenway... he can't risk half the fans boo him with the whole world watching."
Actually, the compare-and-contrast throws between Bush at Yankee Stadium in fall 2001 (a strike, from the mound) vs. Kerry's throw at Fenway earlier this year (in the dirt, from right in front of the mound) would make a great little ad. I wonder if any GOP 527 is working on this.
Baritone attack-ad announcer voice: "Doesn't America deserve a Commander-in-Chief... who can get it over the plate?" |
And didn't Kerry blame it on the guest catcher? Just like he blamed his snoboarding fall on the Secret service agent. |

Talk about someone not being able to admit when they're wrong. Kerry is so narcissistic it's pathetic.
I agree, this would make a great commercial. |

I read somewhere that the President had a bullet proof vest on when he threw that strike from the mound. |

Hey Hey Hey!!! Most people in NORTH Jersey are Yankee fans. I'm from South Jersey. We HATE the Yankees. Just a 10 minute ride over the bridge to Philly. (OK my team ain't so great, but we're not the Yankees ) I'm just teasing ya. In this state, you either love NY or despise them. Last night was great for me, but my mom wants Boston to lose cause they"re in Mass. So I say, come on Houston!!! |

He absolutely had a vest on. There's a funny clip of '9 Innings from Ground Zero' floating around on the net about that night. Apparently the President ran into Derek Jeter, who asked where he was going to throw from. The President answered the base of the mound. Jeter told him something to the effect of 'this is New York - you throw from the rubbber,' which being the great guy he is, the President did. And it was a good throw, too. I'm pretty sure in the clip it's mentioned that he's in a vest. In any event, I was there at the game, and it was clear he was in a vest. The sight of the President throwing out the first pitch in Yankee Stadium a few days after 9/11 is something I will never forget - it was amazing.

Didn't Kerry say after hunting today that he was still "giddy" over the Red Sox win, and couldn't focus? |
