|

The most conspicuous and glaring hypocrisy at the DNC Convention this week is their embrace of everything military, Vietnam, law enforcement, etc. This from many of the same creeps who spit in our faces 30 years ago. This from the same creeps who think Mumia, a convicted cop killer, is credible. This from the same creeps who have no problem with burning our flag. I can go on and on. But I knew, you get my meaning.
Go Air Force!!! Medics, we're there when you need us. |

My father was a recruiter for the Navy from '69 to '72, and he has told me stories of what it was like to be in the military during that time. I have enormous respect for anyone who willingly risks their own life in service to their country.
Though I am too young to remember the early '70s (birthyear: 1971), I was inspired by my father, and uncles to enlist in the Navy in 1995. Although my time in service was short lived, I salute each and every one of you!
With that being said, I do NOT have any respect for any politician that wore the uniform, and in turn stretches the truth to further their political career, and thus dishonoring his or her comrades-in-arms. |
