I get so frustrated hearing people justify their vote based on....the talking points...of either side. People have become sponges, absorbing the montra and never engaging in a single piece of independent thought or common sense.

Well here is why I will vote for Pres. Bush.

First, Iraq was on his plate when he took office. We occupied a base in Saudi to maintain the no fly zones, as the world waited for Saddam to comply with the agreements he made to end the Gulf War.

We KNEW he had WMD. We have pictures of the bodies in Iran and Iraq he used them on. He had every opportunity to simply say..."I don't have any anymore, I destroyed them all and here is where." But he did not do that nor did he disclose them.

Our planes were being shot at every single day as they maintained the no-fly zone, so a decision had to be made as to what to do about Iraq. There were terrorists in Iraq. Bush NEVER said that 9/11 had anything to do with Iraq or Saddam. NOT ONCE. Only there were ties between Saddam and Al Qaeda. We have destroyed their bases there and gleened intelligence from them.

As to the banner on the ship that read "Mission Accomplished"....that referred to the mission of that ship and their mission was accomplished and superbly I might ad. Bush was honoring what those sailors had done.

One last point....for now....there are similarities between Iraq and Nam. That being what the liberal left is doing in an attempt to insure our defeat. The terrorists LOVE to hear/see the descent in this country. Every time they hear it they are further emboldened. Don't people notice now Kerry has changed his anti-war rhetoric?? That is because he was blasted by people for feeding into that, so he changed from anti-war to where he is now....which is btw different from where he was in the beginning, wich is different than he was before that, which is different than.........

Bush has been steadfast and unwaivering. Does anyone think it is an accident that we have not been attacked since 9/11? Does anyone think Al Qaeda has not tried? Do you think that the Administration can tell us everything?? Think people....THINK.
