Most Red Sox Fans are Republicans!

Public Enquiry Project has just completed an empirical study using proprietary methods of the political affiliations of Red Sox fans. Here are our findings:

1 - 39.8% of Massachusetts residents are Republicans.

2 - The reamaining 60.2% are divided between Communists, Greens, Naderites, Libertarians and Democrats.

3 - 89.6% of Mass Republicans love baseball and are Red Sox fans.

4 - only 48.2% of Mass non-Republicans love baseball and are Red Sox fans.

5 - A little mathematics thus reveals that 55.17% of Sox fans are Republicans and love George W. Bush while 44.83% of Sox fans will probably vote for Kerry.
