This is a post from another board I frequent by a dumb-as$ liberal. It was posted in response to the question - "I'd be curious to know which policy or campaign promise of the opposing candidate (Bush for you lefties, Kerry for you righties) would you adopt for your candidate." Thought you'd all find it interesting -

Quote:

The policy I would/am trying to adopt is VOTER INTIMIDATION AND CHEATING IN ELECTIONS.

The Republican party's TAMMANY HALL type bamboozle of 2000 is not lost on me. The Dems would be wise to disregard the law this Tuesday and INTIMIDATE ANY REPUBLICAN GOING TO THE POLLS. I would take the initiative from their "success" and begin a grass roots campaign of vandalism beginning with "schoolyard-type" jeering and tossing pennies at known Republicans to smashing windows of polling places, encouraging members of Democratic 527s to vote "early and often" and hopefully tar and feather prominent facists.

Given the results of 2000 what I have learned to actually emulate from the facists is that, come next Tuesday THERE ARE NO LAWS.

By the way, this guy has called me a "facist" about 300 times now, even though I told him after about the 67th time that it's spelled "fascist".

About 1917 a new political term came into use: Bolshevik. By the 1930s the term had metamorphized into a new meaning. Check it out.

Bolsheviks of the 1930s are about as close as you can get to the rabid liberals of the 2000s. Tactics, thought patterns, etc., etc., are almost nearly identical.

It never ceases to amaze me. I know people say that it isn't the rank and file democrats that are the problem - it's the corrupt leadership in the top ranks of the party. This is bull. I know too many dems at work, in my family, old freinds who aren't so freindly anymore. The democrat party has gone over the edge. It is chock full of the worst elements in society.

Fascists? The Right stands for nothing if not limited government, the rule of Law, property rights and the right to your life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. These ideals have nothing to do with fascism.

Fascism was the ideology adopted by former Marxists who dropped Marxism from their socialist beliefs. Rather than being "international socialists" of Marxism they became national socialists. They also didn't believe they needed to nationalize the means of production in order to right the wrongs of 'capitalist oppression' - they simply forced businesses to tow the line through government fiat and intimidation. They destroyed property rights in all but name. Very much like our liberals' agenda.

Need we remind everyone that people such as John O'Neill, Zell Miller and many others have come from the Democrats?

Sadly, too many within the ranks of the party have fallen for the left wing spin, but then again, how many from the right have fallen for some over the top rhetoric of separatists and survivalists?

Each party has their looneys, I'm afraid. Right now, we need to stand with Democrats as Zell Miller and help them take their party back away from the far left whackos.

That being said, this thread is being locked before it turns into a bashing of either party. Our target is John "F"in Kerry.
