Kerry and Edwards -- why don't you do as Senator Dole did after receiving his party's nomination as candidate for president; step down from your Senate seat?

Kerry has rarely been seen in the Senate chambers to vote during the primaries; why would we expect that to change now? Not rightfully stepping down from the Senate seat just proves that the Democratic Party is not the party of the people; instead, the Democratic Party is the party of POWER AND GREED.

The hypocrisy of Kerry, Edwards, and the Democratic Party is despicable and shameful to every American.

I think both Kerry & Edwards will be only referred to in historical reference once their constituents get a chance to throw them out. Even in Boston his own will separate them selves as Kerry drags their image through the mud.

You may be interested to know that Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has already asked JFnK to do exactly that. Sad to say, however, most senators don't.. apparently they consider that one of the perks of the job.. I don't think Algore did it .. or Bentsen.

Joe Lieberman didn't resign in 2000 when he was running for VP, and in fact ran for reelection as senator even while he was also running for VP.. how's that for confidence?

And LBJ, when he was VP, wanted to keep his position as majority leader AS WELL. How's that for a colossal ego?

Is this just a trait of Democratic senators?? hmmmm...
