Just adding to Navy Chief's evidence trail on how John "Neville Chamberlain" Kerry and his anti-war buddies were being used as puppets by the North Vietnamese/VC:

Many of us have seen portions of transcripts of Kerry's slanderous 1971 Senate testimony where he criticizes our sailors and soldiers who were fighting in Vietnam. That is where he confesses (trying to impress everyone) that he had [unauthorized] contact with U.S. enemies. One's impression is that he seemed to think HE could negotiate with the VC when other, lawful representatives were incompetent (in his own mind). You can read or hear this for yourself. It would be fun to download and let thousands of people--maybe even on the radio--hear for themselves Kerry's own words that run afoul of U.S law. You can call your local talk radio hosts and ask them to download and hear it. They don't have to take our word for it. But make sure you emphasize the relevant federal law, so people know just how illegal that was.

His words are cited here just below the applicable federal law that applies to every U.S. citizen. His own words condemn himself. The link to the audio is also below. (This portion of his testimony follows the start of the Q & A from the senators, so it's at least 30 minutes into the clip.)

"Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both."
--U.S. Code, Title 18, Part I, Chapter 45, Section 953: Private correspondence with foreign governments

"I have been to Paris. I have talked with both delegations at the peace talks, that is to say the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the Provisional Revolutionary Government and of all eight of Madam Binh's points it has been stated time and time again, and was stated by Senator Vance Hartke when he returned from Paris, and it has been stated by many other officials of this Government, if the United States were to set a date for withdrawal the prisoners of war would be returned.
I think this negates very clearly the argument of the President that we have to maintain a presence in Vietnam, to use as a negotiating block for the return of those prisoners."

--Kerry, testifying before the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, April 22, 1971

(Thanks to Mr. Quinton for tracking this down.)

(The link also includes another to some video. I haven't watched it to see if it includes the confession part.)

What self-inflated arrogance is on display in his words! You don't even need a trial when you have a blatant confession to U.S. authorities. It's too bad Mr. Carter's pardon would cover this, too. But that doesn't mean that the people can't be outraged and deny Kerry the prize he's been coveting his whole life--and of which he is not worthy.
