MINNESOTA Secretary of State: ELECTION RESULTS
Quote:
EXTRACT from: St. Paul Pioneer Press - 11/2/04 (by Bill Salisbury)
“Lavish Attention to Minnesota could get winner the edge” -- This could be a presidential election for the ages in Minnesota. Long considered fly-over land in national races, the Gopher state and its 10 electoral votes have now become among the most coveted in the country. Although Minnesota has voted Democratic in seven straight presidential elections, the longest such streak of any state in the nation, it has been trending Republican in recent years and is now one of about half a dozen states rated as toss-ups by political analysts and the Bush and Kerry campaigns.....

Polls don't close until 8pm. No results shown yet. Cold, rainy day, but good turnout in my neighborhood!

Thanks Beatrice. I thought for sure we'd get out of the blue column this year. Hopefully those results are from Hennepin and Ramsey counties.

Yeah - we've got a ways to go. I've been watching it close and hoping beyond hope -- saw a couple trucks driving thru downtown this afternoon with big Bush signs and a couple huge US Flags up on tall posts just waving in the wind! I've never seen that before ... (We should give a hand to Ralphie, though, don't you think?)

Whoo, looks like Min is a lost cause.

Makes me wonder how this effects the rest of the country.
