During the debates we learned that Senator Kerry had a plan to solve literally every problem in America. Nobody knew it at the time, but rather than loafing during the past 23 years like so many of us thought, he apparently was working "at home" and had been “saving them up” so that he could spring them on us all at once when he became president.

Since that didn’t quite work out, will he now, being a great patriot, give us the benefit of his two decades of planning -- and can we look forward to scores of Kerry authored legislation and the beginning of an American utopia. Pity the poor staffers who will have to be typing up all this paperwork.

Or, will he save it for a 2008 run.

I think it 1965 LBJ signed Medicare into law. He proposed it as a congressman some 3 decades earlier. Agree or disagree he was building an agenda. If Kerry had been elected his course of action would be a name a week month or day after someone.

His entire campaign was made of whole cloth on the spot because he had never created a legislative agenda previously. The people of Mass should be so proud.

What about John Kerry's four months in Vietnam qualify him to be president?
Al Gore was there for five.
