Thank you. Thank you. Now he goes onto the DAshHeap of history.

But as I reflect, I do not think thune would ahve ulled it off all by himself.DashHole was collateral damage of the secondary explosions on the bad ship Kerry. So Swiftees, John O'Neil, and NavyChief- thank you also for our liberation.

Rurik, how 'bout coming into my great state of MI to teach us how to get rid of Comb-Over Levin and Weight Watchers challenged Stabenow? Congratulations on electing the 'right' man!

I am so pleased that the money spent there was worth it. I have wanted Dashole gone since Clintongate, and then that was ratcheted up post 9/11. Dashole is an obstructionist buffoon, and I am so glad he is, for all intents and purposes, gone.

This was an important victory.

The Democrats took a drubbing int his election cycle. I am WAY pleased.

Hehe. It's a little hard to tell from his tone, but I think Rurik is a happy camper today.

You are not alone my friend.

Yes, Rurik is happy. I got a razor cut this morning and I enjoyed it. I stubbed my toe hard, and I enjoyed it. If Mikey Moore were to show up for dinner I would not enjoy it. But I would enjoy the way I would receive him.
There is one thing that will make me even happier. And that will be when we can help liberate my neighbors in Minnesota and Michegan. The spread of democracy should begin at home.
Levin, you better be leavin'.

Is John Thune from the same family that was politically known in South Dakota 40-50 years ago?

I grew up in South Sioux City, Nebraska, where Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota meet at the Missouri river. It seems like the governor back then was named Charles Thune, or something, but the name's very familiar. I was only single-digits old, and didn't pay much attention. I do remember THUNE being pasted on billboards in, apparently, 1956, because Ike was running for the second term. ("I liked Ike")

Sorry, no idea. I'm relatively new in this state.
But it would make sense.
