Since I am a Marine Mother. I spend a lot of my time at an amazing website called www.grunt.com (Sgt Grits Marine Specialties)
Throughout the day, several posts have been made stating the gratitude of many Marines, their families and friends to the SwiftBoat Veterans.
Many of the Marines there are Viet Nam Veterans.
I thought I would post a link here to the thread.
Once again. My heartfelt gratitude to such an amazingly brave group of Veterans who have served this country so well.

Thank you!

If you could post a link to our guestbook, please invite them all to come and join our board.

http://www2.swiftvets.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=5 It's sort of like our guestbook and we're up to 8-9 pages of salutes to these Swiftees - I know it's got to lift their spirits to know that they are appreciated.

It also contains a heck of a lot of thank you's to Vietnam vets - so the Marines on grunt might be gratified to read the messages there, as well.

I tried to sign up for theirs to post such an invitation, but they apparently are not accepting new members, at the moment? I kept getting the agreement page.

In any case, they are more than welcome, here.

Navy... They are excepting new members...just takes time to get you approved. They have also had a lot of trouble with trolls through the election season.
I believe there are several links to swiftvets over there and many are already registered users here! Smile
