Just off the wall, my #2 kid (who takes the opposite stand on anything
I like just to pull my chain) and I were watching the news on TV last
night. They had this segment on the new Presidential Library in
Little Rock. When they showed an ariel shot of the building, the kid
pipes up "Ohmigawd! That looks just like a huge doublewide!"

Sometimes I like #2 Kid.

Yeh, Snipe Dude, dat building looks just like what so many of us “couzans” down here in ‘da bayous of Louisiana use for “da primary crib”. Dat be 16 wide or so, jacked up on da pilings der. I seen a picture that made it look like Bush and Clinton are fighting to get through the door first. Isn't it protocol that the sitting President goes first and the others a half-step behind? Respect for the office and all that. It would be like that glory-seeker Clinton to think he out-ranked the current President.

I saw some reporter type say on TV that the design is "meant to evoke a bridge" since Clinton was trying to build a bridge to the future or some such crap.

How fitting for Clinton: A Bridge to Nowhere.
