Republican Dino Rossi won the Washington State Governor race by 42 votes after the recount was finshed. His opponent Christine Gregoire is now hinting at a another "hand" recount.

The demoncrats just can't seem to accept defeat

Sore losers! If I could put up with 8 years of WJC and his antics, they should suck it up and admit they lost fair and square. First-class ijuts!

Fphamm, my understanding is that if the third recount has the same result, the democrat party has to foot that bill. Hee-hee! Maybe Skerry will give them some of his leftover ca$h.

If Gregoire goes ahead and asks for the hand recount and the results of the election are changed, this will automatically require even another recount. Before all this, she even effectively challenged hundreds of provisional ballots being discarded for various legal reasons and won, adding some 900 ballots back in, most presumably for her.

Even funnier yet is hearing her complain about a county having more ballots than registered voters, assuming she is complaining about one of the majority conservative counties here in Washington. Of course, since the few liberal counties are also the heavieist populated counties and almost always vote Democrat, I doubt she will want anymore recounts or challenges there.

Since she is our current Attorney General, my guess is she knows many legal tricks to ensure she comes out on top. Evil or Very Mad

I certainly hope that Rossi comes out on top since he obviously won
and only Democratic counting of "every" vote (their hand-picked ones)
might reverse it. I would hate to see them steal what would be such a
great victory for the Republicans in a "blue" state. If they do manage
to steal it, it might just come back to bite them since Dino Rossi would
be a formidible candidate for the Senate against a relatively weak
incumbent who barely won her last election. They just don't seem to
get that the more they try to cheat to win, the worse it makes them
look and the more people realize that their "count every vote" mantra
is very hollow.

i say go go dino...it was required by state law to have the ballots verified...but could not find if it requires a hand recount if the vote was still as close as it is...the news here is saying it will go to a hand count and will be done by the first week of december...

You gotta love those democrats. If they win one out of three vote counts, that's the right one or in other words, the only right count is the one in which a democrat wins. I wonder, of the top state and federal elections, how many were challanged by republicans and how many by democrats?

One definition of insanity is when you keep doing something the same and expect somehow a different result. It goes for recounts as well. Libs want every vote to count except when it doesn't favor them.
