Fine! Now he can play hide the soap with Manson and Sirhan.

Can anyone tell me why this got beyond local news?

Can anyone tell me why it dominated national news?

Better yet...Don't tell me. I've heard far too much about Scotty. Let him and the subject die, thank you.

Answer #2 Greta had nothing else to do.
Answer #3 Greta had nothing else to do.

(her nonstop opinions and interviews almost got the case dismissed)

She needs to be replaced by Tony Snow, with a *NEWS* hour.

As far as Peterson is concerned; it will take 10 to 20 years of postponements and appeals before he gets executed.
Meanwhile Big Bubba will do to him what he's been doing to the young ladies his whole life! Wink
I'm goint to send him a case of "soap on a rope", and a case of vaseline,
he will need it! Laughing

If it had not been for the Laci & Connor law, the Peterson case wouldn't have been considered a double murder and qualify for the death penalty.

As far as I know, by being on death row he will be in a cell by himself, and he will get an hour or two a day of supervised exercise, alone, and will eat in his cell, alone. So he won't be anybody's girlfriend. Too bad. If anybody deserves it he does.

He has another 20 to 30 years before the great state of California sees fit to execute him, if it ever does. We have a huge backlog here, and really could use some Texas-style efficiency in cleaning up our prisons.

Hey Arnold, it's the big pedal on the right. No, that's the brake. You want the other right. Push down hard and keep it there.

I think we need to limit the number of appeals a death-row inmate gets, and limit the number of years he/she can wait before the sentence is carried out.

If you think this one was bad, just wait 'till Mikey Jackson starts up in February. I personally can't stand Greta's screechy voice and she and the rest will be in full cry with that one.

I had sort of hoped Peterson would have gotten life. (The judge may still do it.) "Life" in the Pelican Bay SHU is said to cause a large percentage of the inmates to go completely bonkers.

Between the Robert Blake and Michael Jackbutt trials Greta is secure for another two years.

To tell you the truth, if I can just catch H&C and War Stories on Fox I am a happy camper. Sean and Alan crack me up. This is the best comedy team since Abbot and Costello. When I watch H&C sometimes I feel like such a moderate it scares me. Shocked Shocked

Cool Cool Cool

The talking-heads said over and over that Scott had a perfectly unblemished record.
But I seem to remember in the early days two years ago the word was that when Scott was in college, his girlfriend disappeared, was never found and he didn't even become a suspect let alone get charged.
I wondered if she was pregnant also!
He screwed up this time, he got overconfident and arrogant.
Without him leading the police to the scene of the crime, without him going on talk shows and without him talking to Amber, they would not have even had a case.
I believe his own big mouth got him convicted.

Now will one of you California sailors 'splain to me why it is death sentence murder for the husband to kill mother and baby but it is acceptable conduct for the mother to have a doctor kill the baby?
