These 254 Swift Boat Veterans that signed a letter demanding that John F. Kerry sign a DD180 form authorizing all of his military records to be released to the general public back in May, knew what was to come from Kerry, the DNC, the Democrats/Liberals and the media.

From moment one when these men went public in May in Washington, D.C., at the Press Conference, they have been called liars, frauds, disgruntled veterans, partisans, biased, republican shills and even worse.

Why would 254 Vietnam Veterans, many who are very sucessful in their business careers, all family men with children and grandchildren and happy marriages want to turn their lives upside down, and open their lives up to media scrutinty and this kind of abuse? Would you want to do it? Or even better, would you have the guts to do it?

So why did they do this, especially since they knew what was to come from those that support John F. Kerry? They did it for exactly the reason that they say they are doing it for.

They are telling the truth about what happened over in Vietnam in the Swift Boat Squadrons.

They are telling the truth about the testimony of John F. Kerry in 1971 where he falsely accused all Vietnam Veterans of regularly and on a day to day basis committing murders, rapes, assaults, atrocities, war crimes, burning villages, killing pets, livestock and etc.

They are telling the truth about what John F. Kerry did and didn't do over in that short 4 months and 12 days "TOUR" of Vietnam that John F. Kerry was so ashamed of in 1971, but now he is so proud of, and has made the center piece of his Presidental campaign.

It takes character, personal fortitude, and extreme bravery to do what these men are doing. These men are the real 'Heroes' of the Vietnam War, not former LTJG / anti-war protester John F. Kerry. John F. Kerry is as he always has been, a person that lives his entire life for only himself, and his political ambitions.

John F. Kerry was like this in college when he proclaimed to many that knew him that he was going to go into political service, and even back then, he only did things that were well planned out and excuted as to further his future political career. John F. Kerry was a anti-war activitist before he was turned down for a deferrment so that he could go to Paris and study, which forced him to enlist in the US Navy.

John F. Kerry was remembered by many in the US Navy as an anti-war activitist, and one that told everyone about his future political ambitions. His 'volunteering' for Swift Boats and Vietnam was part of his plan to parallel his hero, the real "JFK", in that JFK served on PT Boats, which were the forerunners for Swift Boats, and John F. Kerry was damned determined to follow in his foot steps, and get the same glory, reconition and medals so he could use them to run for political office.

Everything John F. Kerry did in Vietnam was done with his future in politics in mind. Oh, there were some instances where it was genuine reaction and some where he actually followed orders, but most of his actions were done to glorify John F. Kerry.

He disobeyed the rules, orders and SOP's of the Swift Boats and the Navy over in Vietnam. But, over in Vietnam, very few people actually cared about rules, orders and regulations as long as you didn't screw up big time, or bring attention to either your supervisors, or the US Military.

John F. Kerry many times beached his swift boat, and left the boat, which is a huge no no in the Navy. The Commanding Officer of a boat, ship, sub or aircraft never, ever leaves his command, unless he is ordered to do so, or unless that ship, boat, sub or aircraft is sinking, going down, crashing, damaged upon repair, etc...

The majority of GI's that had cameras, both still and movie, over there took pictures of themselves, their buddies, the bases, the girls, their dogs, the towns, nights on the town, and so on. But not John F. Kerry, he filmed his own exploits, and even ordered his own men to participate in re-creations of his exploits. That was not the actions of a normal GI in Vietnam. That was the actions of a man who was totally taken up with himself, one that planned on using that footage for his future in politics, and one that did things that were planned to glorify himself not only in Vietnam, but in the future.

Okay, off the soap box, and tangent, and back to the subject at hand. John F. Kerry and his campaign, and his supporters, the DNC, and the leftist leaning media can scream "Liar's" all they want, but these brave men are still standing up proclaiming the truth, and taking on all enemies.

Just like they did over in Vietnam! So ask yourself again, why are they doing this? Why are they subjecting themselves to attack after attack? Why are they charging into the fray with heads held high?

It's because they are telling the truth, and honest, brave men who tell the truth, have nothing to fear, and nothing to be ashamed of!

They are the real heroes of Vietnam, not John F. Kerry!
