Evan Thomas & Eleanor Clift were on BookTV last night giving a prsentation on the book that Mr. Thomas wrote "How Bush won the election and what you can expect in the future" it was a replay of the newsweek articles but it was fun to see it in front of a live audience in Washington DC and to hear the liberals crying about how strong the conseratives are and how organized the right is on talk radio.

during the Q&A statements like it's not fair the troops in the field get to hear "Rush" three hours a day. and statements on how the MSM favors the right..wowie..lol

Eleanor Clift gave complete credit to the swiftvets for doing in Kerry as she wrote in her newsweek articles, It was nice to hear Kerry had just gained in the polls after the debates and along came the swiftvets and he never recovered.

I was wondering how many of you saw it and what did you think?

Anytime Elanor Clift appears on my tv it is immediately switched to another channel. I will not put myself in a depressive state. I do think the person who beat her in the face with the ugly stick should not go unpunished

I did not see that piece on Cspan but I have heard E. Thomas talk at length about the book.

In conjunction with this I attended a very nice talk from John Harwood (politics reporter for the Wall Street Journal).

I have a problem with both of them as thier perception of the swift vets (at least my impression of their perception) is that these are all 'trumped up' charges.

I strongly dissagree with this assertion.

I have to go to CSPAN-2 to get to my DVD recorder. The other day
they had a group called "Turn Your Back on the President" getting
a bunch of undeserved coverage. Aren't CSPAN and CSPAN-2
government financed stations?
