This is super quick and easy--no address, no email, just give your name and city. Regardless of your stand regarding the war, the troops need our support. Let them know that you appreciate the sacrifice they are making.

Subject: Thank our TROOPS

Please visit the Department of Defense web page and sign a brief message thanking the men and women of the U.S. military services. The compiled list of names will be sent out to our soldiers at the end of the month.

So far there are fewer than 9 million names. What a pity. There should be tens or even hundreds of millions of "Thank You's". Please forward this message to your friends, so they can do the same.

It takes less than a minute to sign the card. http://www.defendamerica.mil/nmam.html

lthrneck,

Thanks for this post. I just signed and sent this info to all my friends and family as well.

Our soldiers and Marines are doing a damn fine job over there.

No, I tried twice after seeing your post and got through both times. Are you trying to access form work? Might be a firewall issue is if you're at work. You can try to ping it.
Open a DOS window and type Ping www.whateverthenameis
See if it times out.

This has been around for a couple of years. Does anyone know if it's the same one?

I'm not sure. It was posted on my Marine Board so I just passed it along.
Looks like it's still getting signatures.
