Michael Schaivo's brother was interviewed by Allen Colmes. It was a disgrace the things he said about the Schindlers. He illuded to the reason for Michael Schiavo suing for money was to buy a house to move Terri into, provide for her care, and move her parents in the house also, BECAUSE THEY HAD KNOWHERE TO LIVE!

It was totally appauling. I was sickened by the lies of this man and the blatent disregard for the life of Terri and her families feelings. Figures Colmes would do the interview.....Hannity probably would have beat the heck out him!

I nodded off before he came on. Embarassed

Bet he didn't answer or explain why MS hasn't obeyed the court order to let the Schindlers know the whereabouts of her ashes. Confused

His eyes were everywhere but on Alan Colmes. I know many here have said that it is not proof positive of lying, but I know from experiance that when someone cannot look me in the eyes, they are lying.

I missed H&C tonight trying to get all my grades posted, but, if Michael's
odious brother was on, I'm glad I missed it! He may be talking out of the
other side of his mouth once Mark Furman's book is released.

There is something wrong with those two to have such obvious animosity toward the Schindlers.

transcript (if you can stomach it):

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,156078,00.html

Quote:
COLMES: You made the allegation on my radio show that Mr. Schindler urged Mike to get on with his life, and date other women, and introduced him?

SCHIAVO: Oh, yes. Well, I tell you what. It was sitting — he made the first statement to a brother of mine, my brother, Brian, sitting in a restaurant lounge, that Mike needs to go out and get a piece of — a very derogatory word.

And my brother just looked at him like, "You've got to be kidding me." Here's this man's daughter laying up there fighting for her life. Mike is trying to fight to save her life. And he's making accusations to his son- in-law's brother that he should go out and do what he's got to do.

LIES! LIES! LIES!

I also would have encouraged Michael to get on with his life...and get a divorce!!!!!!!! GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!!!!

But for Michael, the money was too good...it was so good, he was able to hire the lawyers he needed on his side to help him get the job done!!!!!!!!

I only know what the media has reported and that is how I came to this conclusion but Terri's husband and his family have not impressed me at all. I would have thought better of him if he had at the very least divorced her. If "he" used the money for other than what it was supposed to be for and did not allow any type of therapy he deserves the disdain that alot of people have for him. And if it is all true and his family backs him up they are no better and I feel for his illegimate children but not his stack-up honey. What kind of lives are these innocent children going to have with the parents they have. The ripple that he started doesn't affect only Terri and Michael but also includes her family, his family, his non-legal family...................the world. We are the worse for it.

I did watch part of this and I thought I had imagined it when Schiavo’s brother referred to Terri as “him” – I thought, maybe he’s just talking too fast. But then he did it again and I thought that very strange. The transcript at the Fox site is a “partial transcript” – but if you watch the video, you will see two places where Scott forgets Terri is a woman. Once when he says “his” and then corrects himself: “fighting for his .. her life” and then when talking about doctors examining Terri near the end of the tape he says, “none of them examined him” (and does not correct himself). This just seems so very, very odd.

Maybe I’m just not hearing right – but it sort of jumped out at me. (If someone else listens to this video, let me know if I’m wrong.)

Just listened...you heard it right, that is really really strange. I note the transcript took the liberty of correcting the miscues.

Freudian slip or what, ie it's all about Michael?
fighting for his life........ his life, his freedom
none of them examined him....... looked into, saw, his side

You are both correct. I listened to the interview with Colmes and he did refer to Terri as he/him. I also found the fact that he did not look Colmes in the eyes, but kept flitting all over was odd. I sensed he was lying through his teeth. Do you know that to date that Michael has yet to tell the Schindler's where Terri is burried. It is just appauling. It is what I call and atrocity. Evil or Very Mad

SCHIAVO: Well, because the lawyer at the time, the lawyer had told Mike this was an open-and-shut case and there was going to be — you know, there was going to be a large settlement. And they had made plans on building a house that could accommodate Terri's wheelchair.

Mike was talking about having, you know, around-the-clock help, physical therapy, and all of this good stuff for Terri.
And he was also going to move the Schindlers in because they had no place to live. And when it came out there was only $1 million to take care of Terri for the rest of her life, there was not going to be money to do that.

It's plain as day that the trouble between Terri's husband and Terri's parents started because Michael renegged on their promise to care for Terri. According to what Scott said the money that came through wasn't enough money for Michael, so Michael decided not to take care of Terri...and **still** wanted her dead. That should have been enough proof right there for the courts to see that Michael no longer had his best interest where Terri was concerned. If Michael was a man, he would have done the right thing and given guardianship of Terri...and the money...to her parents right then. At this point, if Michael wasn't the self-centered son of a ***** that he is, he would give the heartbroken Schindler's their daughter's ashes. He really proves he is a monster and probably was an abusive husband to Terri. I'd like to think Michael deserves everything coming to him, but I feel for his children.

Rest in peace Terri! Rest in peace!

Only a million? What kind of house was he planning on building. Making a house ADA accessible is a little more expensive but not THAT much. If Terri had gotten the therapy she needed, who knows how much help would have been required. We will never know because "someone" wanted her dead and got his way.
