The Relativity of Truth

“The quality or state of being relative.
A state of dependence in which the existence or significance of one entity is solely dependent on that of another.”

What is the relativity of truth today within our journalistic counterparts? The slant of the day is to publish photos of Saddam Hussein in his underwear, full well knowing the controversy this will create.

What is the relativity of truth today within our Senate? It is difficult for the people we elected into office to represent us to come together and agree on anything except to agree to disagree.

What is the relativity of truth today within our homes? It is apparent children lack the discipline and guidance needed to help these young people grow and prosper into productive thriving adults.

What is the relativity of truth today with our moral structure and fiber, not only within the homes, but also within this country? Sex on every corner so to speak, every magazine oozes near naked bodies. The television has become our trashcan instead of our good old past time as it once was. The Survivor and American Idol replace the clean programming that once donned our television sets. I will not even go into the cable networks, but then it is relative, they co-exist with the same slime.

What is the relativity of attaining youthfulness within our society? It is a dirty word to be over forty. Our values have become so reduced that we value the outward appearance for a lack of self-identity, character, and depth. The moral fiber within many is to be thin, to have cosmetic surgery galore; and tell me how siliconed up can you become, and how many plastic surgeries can you have before you begin to look like Michael Jackson? The sad thing is, it is not just our secular women in society striving for eternal youth; this sick trend has even crossed over into women in Ministry. Is that relative to relativity?

One of the many synonyms of relativity is relationship, meaning connection. Here are some more synonyms:

dependency, exchange, friendship, homogeneity, hookup, interconnection, interrelation, interrelationship, kinship, liaison, likeness, link, nearness, network, parallel

There is a void of The Relativity of Truth within our country. It permeates through out our Nation and within many of our own souls. No longer is the Minister standing up for his beliefs or for Christianity, nor is the Rabbi speaking out against all the anti-Semitism within our own borders. No longer do parents demand that schools stand up to a moral code of ethics; and as a people we have allowed the ACLU to run wild. When did we become a nation without God? It is not enough to say we believe in God, but want separation of church and state……how is that parallel? It certainly is not relative.

Americans are whining about our borders, about our Senate’s inability to work together to vote on Judicial Nominees, but what is anyone of you personally doing about it? What is relative is to realize if you do not like what you see, what you hear, what our people and country have become, then start making a change within yourselves. To exact change you must begin within, then what is around you will change. However, nowadays that is not relative, it is not socially or politically correct. God forbid anyone really begins to think for themselves. We are a cloned society today going nowhere if we do not wake up soon and take a look around us.

The Relativity of Truth my friends cannot be found around us, we must all find it within us before what is around us becomes Relative.
