"On the eve of the G-8 Summit, ex-president Bill Clinton is telling European audiences that the U.S. is stingy with its foreign aid dollars - and that Americans think they contribute more than they actually do.

"In America, for example, we have always been hampered in getting adequate budgets for international assistance by the fact that the American people believe we give much more than we do," he told BBC Radio 4 on Thursday."

This is easy for someone who has always had so much to say. Try holding a full time job, going to school and raising a family Mr. Bill. I realize I went back to school late in life, but ya see, I, unlike you, was in the military. Take a good look at the way the rest of the world treats us and I think we give way to much. Maybe if we let a few or our 'friends'
go hungry a little they won't kick us in the teeth next time we give tham our hard earned money.
Typical Liberal thought though, its always America's fault!!!!
Seems like the only time they quit complaining about how terrible we are is when they want to stick their hand a little further down in our pockets and take a little more from us.

That's interesting coming from a self absorbed blowhard HillBilly that now gets paid $250,000 a pop for a speaking engagement to talk about himself and with all the acommodations and babes he can take on for an appearance. He also can't stop reminding us he is now rich. How much have you given away, Bill?? Your "Fair Share"??

This is so right coming from someone who got everything from the government. He never owned a home or paid rent until he left the government, and we are still paying him. Everything he has, he got from US taxpayers. Even with his big book deals, he gave less to charity than Bush. Until the Clintons have to earn a real living, they will never understand what USA is about.
