Great story about how America and Britain, when pushed too far, have no problem using whatever means necessary to stop these Religious Terrorists.

When you’re scuba-diving, you’re in another reality. You’re totally in the moment, absorbed and fascinated by a world utterly removed from that above the surface. But the pressure of this world drives gasses you’re breathing like nitrogen into your tissues, and if you return to the surface too quickly, bubbles of nitrogen come out of solution like an opened champagne bottle, into your bloodstream and can blow up your brain.
Returning to “civilization” from an African safari can have similar effects. Immersed in a world utterly removed from the outside, blissfully unaware of any “news” occurring anywhere as you watch a lioness play with her cubs or a lady elephant tease a big bull in heat, causing him to chase after her dragging his 40 pound “fifth leg” in desperation – you need to decompress and slowly return to reality.
I ignored this advice and am suffering the consequences. One day I was in a tent in the Serengeti. The next day I was in London with bubbles of the world’s insanity exploding inside my head.
Thus my first thought was – did the world experience an unusually heavy dose of lunacy during the three weeks I was gone, or had I become so inured to it that I only notice after being away for a while? A professional assassin, Mahmoud Ahmadeinejad, becomes president of Iran. A fascist Supreme Court abolishes the Constitution’s protection of property rights.
Some rap singer named “50 cent,” I read in the London Standard, got paid a half-million dollars for performing for 15 minutes at something called the Reading Festival. Just above this is a story about Louise Casey, a personal advisor to British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who explained in a speech to police chiefs the benefits of binge drinking and being drunk at work.
On the following page, there’s coverage of the 2,000 “German, French, Scottish, and English anarchists,” armed with iron bars and wheeling shopping carts filled with bricks, who attacked police and went on a rampage of violence protesting the G8 meeting at Gleneagles, Scotland.
This was in yesterday’s London Standard, Wednesday July 6. I got it in my hotel near Russell Square, and read it while riding the Tube (the London subway) through various Tube stations to Heathrow airport. I got back home to Washington late last night, and awoke this morning to learn that Moslem terrorists had just blown up four Tube stations and a double decker bus near Russell Square.
At least this put the weirdest and most impossibly grandiose recent insanity in perspective.
Let’s try this thought experiment. It’s the height of World War II, the struggle against the Nazis still waged and in doubt. Winston Churchill, Franklin Roosevelt, and Charles de Gaulle meet in Scotland. The purpose of their summit? To discuss the impact of colonialism in Africa.
On the eve of the summit, Frank Sinatra has organized a nation-wide radio broadcast featuring renowned international crooners Mario Lanza of Italy, Carmen Miranda of Brazil, Edith Piaf of France, and of course himself – all singing their demands that attention be focused on colonial Africa.
After the broadcast, Carmen Miranda declares that the broadcast was “the greatest thing that has ever been organized probably in the history of the world.” Frank Sinatra flies to Scotland to stand next to Churchill at a press conference and say, “Mr. Prime Minister, all our listeners expect you to solve the problems facing Africa. There is obviously no greater issue you can discuss at your summit than this.”
Wouldn’t this make a great skit on Saturday Night Live? Yes, if SNL’s writers had genuine creativity….
The tragedy of dozens dying and hundreds wounded today is evidently what it takes in our world to expose the cosmic farce of a bunch of aging rock singers with pathologically large egos angrily demanding that Other People’s Money (OPM, the Drug of the Left) be spent to “Make Poverty History.”
Yet it is an even greater farce that the leaders of the most powerful countries in the world actually pay attention to them, that Tony Blair, would stand next to a pompous egomaniac, Bob Geldof, and tolerate his arrogant insults, instead of explaining:
“Mr. Geldof, we of the G8 have no time for your ego-trips. You evidently don’t realize it, but we are at war. We are at war with an enemy more ruthless than the Communists, more barbaric than the Nazis, who wish to extinguish civilization itself. So why don’t you run along now, and spend your own money to ‘make poverty history,’ or work on something more constructive than OPM be given to African dictators – something like ‘make tyranny history,’ or ‘make terrorism history,’ or ‘make egomania and bad rock music history.’ The latter would blessedly require you for once to shut up.”
This, however, would require that Mr. Blair shut up about global warming boogeymen and focus on the war. Perhaps he will. Perhaps he will start acting Churchillian at last. Evidence would be the shutting down of Wahhabi mosques, kicking Wahhabi imams out of England, and ending the financing of mosques by Wahhabi money from Saudi Arabia – for a start.
This could then move on to acknowledgement of the general proposition that Islam is a Religion of War until proven otherwise. The burden of proof has incontrovertibly shifted, the evidence too overwhelming. Islam is guilty until proven innocent, and must be treated accordingly.
Three months ago last March, close to 50,000 English protestors gathered in London’s Hyde Park to proclaim “George Bush, Uncle Sam, Iraq will be your Vietnam,” and other inanities. It will be some time before there is such a demonstration again. A demonstration demanding to Nuke Mecca is now more likely.
If the London Bombings of July 7 aren’t the terrorist straw that breaks Islam’s back, the attack is coming that will. The Terrorists of Islam are betting their religion on the moral restraint of their enemies. They forget that America nuked Japan and the Brits firebombed Dresden with no apologies. Any Moslem with any brains should be getting seriously afraid.
Americans and British are not Euro-pussies. Push and goad us far enough and the consequences will be catastrophic. Will July 7 be sufficient for the Brits? Will a similar attack in America be sufficient for us? Maybe – but certain is that one will come that will trigger a retaliatory tsunami that will wipe Mecca off the map.
It is the responsibility of Moslems to see that this trigger attack never occurs: that is the message George Bush has instructed his diplomats and intel agents to whisper in Moslem ears around the world.
We can only pray that he will be taken at his word. This may prove difficult, especially by Moslems here in DC, which is on high alert and is the expected target of the next Moslem attack on American soil. How much do the terrorists have to fear when they read this bubble of insanity in today’s Washington Times? There is a group here, it turns out, that is gathering thousands of signatures nominating Oprah Winfrey for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Sounds like hyperbole to me, but I'd like to see some documentation of this claim.

There are "general propositions" that George Bush was the instigator of 9/11. |

The author should not make blanket condemnations as this, especially such inaccurate ones. American Muslims have been fighting alongside Christians and Jews in our own Military since the inception of our country. American Muslims have bled and died on the battlefields protecting the freedoms we all enjoy. Currently, Iraqi Muslims are dying in Iraq in a struggle against Terrorists trying to subdue their newly freed nation.
Just yesterday London suffered a horrific Terrorist attack, similar to one that Spain suffered not too long ago. The media plays up the Muslim connection of the fanatics that caused the attack. However, did they give any air to the Muslims that condemn such an act? No.

American media won't print the following, but it isn't only American Muslims upset;

He said Abu Dhabi also "supports any measures (the British government) may take to deal with" the attacks, which were claimed by a previously unknown group linked to the al-Qaida network, the state news agency WAM reported.
Kuwait denounced the attacks in a letter to British Prime Minister Tony Blair from Prime Minister Shaikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah, who is currently in the United States.
Shaikh Sabah expressed Kuwait's "strong condemnation" of the blasts that left a number of "innocent casualties," said the state news agency KUNA.
"These terrorist attacks which target innocent lives are against all human norms and values," the Kuwaiti leader said. Shaikh Sabah also expressed "Kuwait's sympathy and support to friendly Britain and to all actions it will take to eradicate vicious terror in order to preserve security and stability."
A source at the Qatar Foreign Ministry similarly condemned the "criminal explosions ... which are terrorist acts that flout human and moral values," said Qatar News Agency (QNA).
"The state of Qatar denounces terrorism of whatever kind and whatever its source," the statement further said.
"Qatar expresses solidarity with the friendly United Kingdom and presents its condolences to the families of the victims and the injured," it added.
The Palestinian Islamist resistance group Hamas condemned the London bombings.
"Targeting civilians in their transport means and lives is denounced and rejected," Moussa Abu Marzouk, deputy chief of the group's political bureau, said. |
If this and other Muslims condemnations can be found at Al Jazeera, a decidedly anti-West source, we must ask why our own media cannot find space to also print the outrage mainstream Muslims feel about these acts. Could it be that our own media is trying to hide the fact that we are winning the war? Is it also very possible that this same leftstream media is trying to hide the outrage many Muslims feel about their religion being hijacked by thugs and murderers?
