This is one more good idea that we can take part in. We need to be on top of where Senator HorseFace is going so we can try to get people with signs, bullhorns, pamplets, fliers, and better yet.....DVD's. Before he gets there and when the people leave.

Kerry and Bush will both be across the river from me next week sometime. I'll be working, but if I could attend, I'm afraid all I could do would be to stand in front of Kerry raising the single finger salute. Wink

I am not familair with where across the river is. If we could put a city/state to that, maybe we can find several of you that could get together. Make up a few fliers, make a sign maybe take some books to hand out.

Just remember, if you are doing swiftvet stuff you cannot be doing pro bush stuff, at not at the same time:)

If we could find a couple more from around Portland and you could go and just pass out a simple flier that would be terrific. Have the swiftvets web site on the flyer. Maybe even hand out a book or two. And definately signs. Anyone else from around Portland?

ASPB, I'm in Vancouver, Hazel Dell, to be more exact.

Listening to teh radio this morning, it appears my timeline was faulty. Both will be in Portland tomorrow. It appears they will be just a few miles apart and speaking at virtually the same time.

For those who don't know, Portland is a notoriously left wing city. They even passed San Francisco in the number of Gay Marriage licenses they handed out.

It will be interesting to see how both speeches play out there. I'd love for Kerry to cross the bridge and stop by near me. He wouldn't, but I would. Wink

Maybe I could return the gesture he gave other vets Laughing

We are practically neighbors, I'm closer to downtown. Yes, too bad he wouldn't stop on this side of the river, I'd like to show him a sign or two, LOL.
