.

Not sure this would be appropriate in any of the other forum topics

....... But it may be of interest to those that served in Vietnam .......

.......... .........

Received the following from Virgil Erwin, an OinC that was in the delta
at the same time as Kerry. His comment on the emotions of Swift Boat
sailors regarding war is very relevent to why we opposed the Senator

"Swifts at War"

I have just completed my tribute to all Swift Boat sailors that served
and sacrificed on the boats during the time frame 1965 to 1970. It
utilizes images from this forum and others, along with appropriate
music, to present an energetic view of what it was like to live and
fight along the rivers and coastline of Vietnam. If you have "been
there and done that" then I think you will recognize the experiences
that are depicted. Paraphrasing what someone so eloquently stated:
"No one hates war as much as a Swift Boat sailor, or understands
more fully why it is sometimes necessary"

Bob, thanks for the memories but as a Swifty, I am kinda partial to your site. Proud to know you and proud to be a Swifty, especially after the last election.
