WASHINGTON -- Bill Clinton's fire-breathing defense of his administration's effort to kill Osama bin Laden is getting a thumbs-up from his wife, who says she's tired of Democrats being pushed around on national security issues.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know. On and on and on, as expected, nothing of real interest as we all know Hillary is in full support of Bill, especially when she is doing damage control for her own future campaign for POTUS.

However, what makes this otherwise dull and expectedly boring article unique is the final paragraph which seems to come out of nowhere;

Quote:
The ex-president -- who pioneered the use of rapid-response "truth squads" to counter negative attacks during his presidential campaigns -- has been critical of John Kerry for failing to defend himself against attacks by the Swift Boat veterans.

The lamestream media had to really stretch to tie the name of the Swifties into this. Rolling Eyes Confused Sad

Any mention of Swiftboat Veterans is good, in my opinion. We served them a heaping plate of revenge, and they haven't recovered yet.

Still no Form 180 from Kerry, either, and he's on record promising to release it, on national TV. Clinton should push Kerry to release his full records and prove we were lying.

I notice the Dems never bring that point up, though. Rolling Eyes

I would guess that Hillary was saying to other Dems who get attacked, "Use the example of my husband on Fox if you get into trouble."

Yes, yes, yes, Dems, by all means demonstrate your instability by emulating Bill Clinton.

In a perverse sort of way, I almost feel sorry for Kerry. In the SwiftVets, he had a formidable force ready to counter any attempt to defend himself against the truth. He was boxed in and had sense enough to know it.

Hillary also predictably rolls out the "read the 9/11 report" line as so many Dems do. This document and the collection of coverup artists which put it together have been elevated to the status of the Magna Carta and its authors. It's really a half-baked loaf with gaping holes which the MSM haven't bothered to explore.

Schadow, they better be cautious asking us to read the 911 Report. It isn't as flattering to them as they want people to believe.

For example, on Page 133 is the paragraph;
Quote:
In February 1999,another draft Memorandum of Notification went to President Clinton. It asked him to allow the CIA to give exactly the same guidance to the Northern Alliance as had just been given to the tribals: they could kill Bin Ladin if a successful capture operation was not feasible. On this occasion, however, President Clinton crossed out key language he had approved in December and inserted more ambiguous language. No one we interviewed could shed light on why the President did this.President Clinton told the Commission that he had no recollection of why he rewrote the language.

We also find, on Page 358:
Quote:
Lacking a management strategy for the war on terrorism or ways to see how funds were being spent across the community, DCI Tenet and his aides found it difficult to develop an overall intelligence community budget for a war on terrorism.

Responsibility for domestic intelligence gathering on terrorism was vested
solely in the FBI, yet during almost all of the Clinton administration the relationship between the FBI Director and the President was nearly nonexistent.

Yes, I followed Hillary's advice long ago, even before she gave it and have read a lot of it. Possibly more than she has given that she keeps telling others to read it.

Perhaps she will also read: Clinton Tough on Terror: A False Legacy

Personally, the thought that Kerry or Gore could have been at the helm when 911 happened boggles my imagination.
