URGENT: Jane Fonda to Protest Iraq War at Navy Memorial Sat. - Help D.C. Chapter Counter-Protest!

Wednesday, January 24, 2007 | Kristinn

THIS IS AN URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT:
The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic is canceling our planned gathering at Upper Senate Park scheduled for 10 a.m. this Saturday, January 27, and will instead focus our efforts on the appearance at the Navy Memorial that morning by Jane Fonda for a so-called antiwar rally there.

We will gather at 9 a.m. and stay through Fonda's scheduled appearance at 10 a.m.

Please bring American and service flags, signs bearing messages of support for our troops, as well as signs denouncing Fonda and her band of traitors.

<snip>

They will be bringing their MOAB MotherOfAllBanners

sounds like there are plans for some photos and audio from her Hanoi days

The House Judiciary Committee chairman, Representative John Conyers, threatened to use congressional spending power to try to stop the war. "George Bush has a habit of firing military leaders who tell him the Iraq war is failing," he said, looking out at the masses. "He can't fire you. He can't fire us."

no he can't but the voters can and SHOULD
