Anyone else hear this? The Doc was thoroughly professional all the way thru.

At the end of the interview he mentioned getting some phone calls and emails that were threatening in nature.. His voice then began to crack.

Dr Letson sounds like a brave man, a good man. It sickens me to know he's getting harrassed by kerry supporters.

We have to stand by these folks now that the heat's on. They were there for us in vietnam. Now it's our turn.

Mr Letson, I don't know you, but you're a hero in my book. Not many have the courage and conviction you've shown. Hang tough, this peacetime USAF Vet is very proud of you all.

Amen Brother,

I heard Dr. Letson's interview amd I really felt sorry for him. My heart goes out to him. Here is a decent honorable man who is in fact a Democrat. He has been attacked and hurt by these people who obviously have no feelings about the harm they do. He qouted a saying that I'm sure I'll get wrong but it tells me a lot about his motivations, " For evil to triumph only requires good men stay silent" . I'm doing that from memory and I'm sure it's off a bit, but you get the point. I am always amazed at the depth of decency and honesty that no matter what, always seems to find it's way out of good men. God bless them.

Hi McCloud,

I don't recall the exact quote your trying to repeat but its most often used to describe Nazi Germany and how Hitler was able to come to power. Believe it is "there is no greater evil then when good people turn a blind eye to evil" bah something like that. I'm getting old Sad

Yes, that is where Dr. Letson got choked up - when he started the quote:

"All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to stand by and do nothing."

I got choked up with him - I know that these men must be feeling tremendous burdens, right about now.

Overall, very effective and reasonable explanation, which is exactly what civilians need to hear.

I heard him yesterday on the radio and it brought tears to my eyes.

Bravo Zulu to Dr. Letson, John O'Neill and everyone else.

The truth must continue to be heard.

I heard the interview, and Dr. Letson did well. He did a good job of explaining away the charge that his signature is not on the treatment report.

If he is getting harrassed by folks from the Kerry campaign, it's probably the same kind of mindless political hacks from the Gore campaign that yelled "cripple" at Bob Kerrey a few years ago.
