I don't know if anyone has mentioned this in a prior post. My apology if it is redundant. Buing from Mass. I realize this may be a lost cause, but one can hope. If it doesn't work out, I can just go on being embarrassed by my home state.

(Dracut, Ma.) – Jim Ogonowski, announcing that he is running for United States Senate challenging John Kerry in November, released the following statement:

If the Swift vets wanted to undertake that task, count me in for donations. It would be a worthy cause. Hanoi John should not be "serving" in the U.S. government, at any level. Maybe we could get Fat Teddy out of there, too.

The Swift Vets stood down after the 2004 elections, their job done.

Veterans in Massachusetts will need to build an effort within the state and get behind Ogonowski.

We can help by donations and support.

As it stands now, Ogonowski has little money to counter Kerry's millions.

Well, yes, the primary job was keeping him out of the White house. And it was done.

But there is an unfinished job leftover, in my opinion, the removal of Kerry from the Senate that needs to be done to further isolate and neutralize his influence in this country and overseas.

I suppose that donations and tech support in organizing an effective oppostion to Kerry's Senate re-election maybe all that is needed.

I hope that the SwiftVets would re-activate the group if conditions warrant it to help to end Kerry's political influnence forever.

Harvuskong, while there are no absolutes, I can't conceive of the SVPT re-emerging for anything short of another Kerry attempt at the executive office. Let me hasten to point out that that would also include a VICE-president candidacy...which Obama (and the DNC) would be out of his mind to even entertain.

Then again, I thought McCain could never get the nomination. So much for my political acumen.

My greatest concern is Kerry's posturing for some anticipated "spoils of war". That he has an eye on the State Department or DOD sends chills up my spine.

If he wasn't a Congressman, that would be a lot less likely.

I'm just saying. Twisted Evil

davman? The sooner you vets up there organize, the better it'll be. No cause is hopeless. Look around the SwiftVet website. Do believe many people thought it too was a lost cause. sKerry is a down in the dirt Leftist & the people of your state should be responsible enough to get up off their hind ends.

You guys organize & lead the way. Even if it takes a while bet on one thing. You will be able to rock sKerrys lil boat.....once you do that, it isn't going to take much to swamp it. Especially if you guys hit him from every direction, watch him panick then.
