A cute little You Tube video by Kerry's opponent.

The link is broken, Lew.

Don't worry, though. I'm certain the video wouldn't alter my thinking on John Kerry.

It's not very often that a political cartoon will make you smile, but this one did. Smile

He sure comes across as a very personable and likeable fellow, doesn't he? What a contrast between him and the haughty, robot-like Kerry.

That was great. Loved the picture they posted of Kerry's hair.

That was one of the best political ads I can remember.

And he's a real citizen of Massachusetts. Notice the accent?

Would love to see this ad on a national network. Quite an education. Any chance Mr. O can unseat Mr. K? Question Very Happy

Yes, Senator Kerry is very beatable. There is a lot of leftover discontent from the '04 election, plus disappointment with the gubenatorial scam election of 2006 (Deval Patrick has done nothing after his "YES WE CAN! campaign). John Kerry is nowhere near as "popular" as Teddy Kennedy in Massachusetts.

In addition, Jim Oganowski ran a very competitive race in the 5th Congressional district special election against Niki Tsongas, a sentimental choice in that part of Massachusetts. He may even have an opponent in the Republican primary, which will add credibility to the contest.

It will depend a lot on John McCain's coattails in November. He is extremely popular in New Hampshire and should turn that state blue again.

Let's hope the economy doesn't tank in the next 7 months
