After this afront, Palin ought to turn down any Oprah invitation.

Oprah has issued a "clarification" up on theDrudge Report

Quote:
"The item in today's Drudge Report is categorically untrue. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over."

Accompanying the article is a photo of Obama sitting on her set during one of her shows.

The Libs are chest deep in her swamp and they still do not see the Sarahgator coming.

1. They were ambushed by her selection.

2. They complained that she was sequestered between her introduction and her speech and she ate their lunch.

3. Now they boldly posture, daring her to face the MSM grilling.

I say she is playing them perfectly if she is calling the shots. If she is being "managed" (the more we learn about her the less likely this is the case), it is being done masterfully.

I say ignore the MSM and go right to the people. Make the media even more irrelevant.

Excellent analysis, homesteader. It could be "baiting" Palin to come on Oprah, it could be a ploy to start a "faux fight", it could be true since Oprah is totally sold out to Obama, but no matter how they play it, it is a win-win for Palin. Oprah is taking flak for being a "flak" for Obama, and more and more people are beginning to see her for the phony and the socialist she is. She will find out just how much of her integrity and reputation she has squandered on an empty suit who most likely holds her in contempt...like he does every other "mortal".

It is to the advantage of the cause to keep Gov. Palin fresh and mysterious as long as possible. It builds the aura, especially when she steps forward and bashes in their teeth at every new stage. She has the luxury to be able to do that because she is secure that there is nothing the MSM is going to be able to dig up on her. No need to tap dance to their tune to gain favor. You can bet the Alaska "Good ol' Boy" establishment (both Rep. and Dem) have been digging for years already.

On the practical side she needs some time to shift gears. I had thousands of hours in single seat fighters (A-7 & F-5) before I was assigned to the F-15. It took a thorough transition course before I was trusted solo with the new plane. You can bet she is in the books and getting ready for the next salvo. It could prove the coup de grace for the Dems.
