Based on what is happening, by "Change" Obama means we all get to "Change" places. Everyone who has worked and saved all their lives to put back enough to live on in their old age will now have it taken by the government and given to those who have done nothing to earn it. We who have worked to achieve will have to "Change" places with those who have not, and we get to start over again with nothing. THEY get the lifestyles we have worked all our lives to obtain, and we get their miserable failed existences....I can hardly wait to figure out what Obama's idea of "Hope" means for us.

Oh, yeah, as a friend reminded me, "Hope" is a town in Arkansas, you know, where Bill Clinton came from.....Heaven help us.....

Excellent point, and a great patriot, too. Unfortunately he had to cancel an appearance at DaNang because of a rocket and mortar attack I believe; it was before I arrived there. The USO troopers during WWII were an inspiration to all. Thanks for bringing something positive to the topic. This Obama style "Hope" and "Change" was beginning to be depressing.

When Pandora opened the box containing all of the evils of the world, she re-closed the box before all had escaped. The evil that did not escape was Hope.

Ancient people considered Hope to be evil. It was wishing for the unobtainable; a lot like buying a lottery ticket; you hope you will win, but you know you won't.

We're all learning more about what Obama means by "Change". On Inauguration Day, he said, "We have exchanged fear for Hope". They blamed Bush for "fearmongering" and trying to play "fear" politics with every issue when he simply alerted us to some REAL danger -- which was his responsibility to do. Yet, two weeks after claiming to represent the politics of "Hopenchange", Obama is telling us that if Congress doesn't pass this "Porkulus and Spendulus" Every-Liberal's-Wildest-Social-Engineering-Dream bill, the American economy faces CATASTROPHE!

For him, "Change" means, he can blast his predecessor for exactly what he is doing and get away with it. The media acted like a pack of wild animals and viciously attacked the previous President every time he did anything, and even when he did NOTHING, much of the time either making mountains out of molehills or outright LYING; but now they can "Change", hide any bad information about Obama and become cheerleaders for the new President. He can say one thing one day, and the next day "Change" his mind and say exactly the opposite, and his media lapdogs just get a tingle running up their legs and don't call him on his double standard and hypocrisy. If anything, they make sure WE don't call him on it, either.

It's already time to "Change" Presidents and Congress.
