How did the SBV organization originate, and evolve to this point? If the answer is in the book, don't respond, I'll read it this week.
Just wondering how 250+ specifically billeted vets came together in such a short period of time.

Any insight is welcome.

It's not a short period of time. It started in January and the relationships had been in place through 35 years of reunions etc.
