When I enlisted in the Navy in "74 (missed Vietnam ...) the only thing my father (a Navy brat and Korean War vet) said to me when I left for boot camp was, "Salute the uniform then learn to salute the man". I have always lived by that and I think it applies to Mr. Kerry. I salute his service to our country, but I can't salute the man for his anti-war activities and now for the obvious falsehoods he has perpetuated.
