Just now on Fox Kerry's spokeswoman defended MoveOn.org and still demanded the Swiftboat ads stop.

IMHO, she sounded ridiculous....Bush should condemn the SBVT ad but the other 527 ads are "independent groups" that Kerry can't control. Do they really believe the drivel they spew??? SHEESH!

Didn't Moveon have democrat presidential candidates speak to them? That's where Gork had his spittle flying tirade I believe.

Someone needs to remind the Kerry Campaign that they hired Zach Exley, the director of special projects for the MoveOn PAC.

Maybe someone needs to remind the media of this also.

I don't recall Pres. Bush's campaign hiring any swifties.

Too bad Bush's spokeswoman didn't say all the things I just read here. She seemed to me to imply that the RNC didn't agree with the ads and were condemning them also. She could've said that they're funded by independent doners, that they're the truth, so let the truth be told. The "political game" really bugs me.

If he is defending the Moveon.org Ads I would say that is coordination between Kerry campaign and the 527

Holy smokes... We all know there have been massive violations from the Kerry Kamp on 527's... Is there someone who watches over this stuff and takes action?

After the 1996 election Bob Woodword came out with a book on Clinton and he wrote that Clinton controled the indendant left wing groups ads even though it was illegal to do that even then. So the Dems have done this before.

Both ads should run - as long as they are paid for - let everyone's voice be heard - let the public decide who they believe.

Let's get rid of election spending and just let the independent groups place ads.

Lie Detector,

I'll take that wager. If you have seen the new ad, MoveON has nothing on it. We may be paupers next to your 527s, but we are more effective.

P.S. Of course you realize just how hypocritical the Kerry campaign is sounding right now. He can allow his surrugates to dish out out, but he whines if some poor little non-partisan site actually has an effective ad against him. Sheesh.

I think it is funny how Kerry is crying that it is a rich republican plot when his family is worth a billion dollars and his wife donates money to all kind of shadowy groups.

The Kerry Kindergarden Kids want all the toys in the room. It's okay for them to get their funding for ads from the $14 million pledged by Soros and all the other rich Dems, but when "the largest Bush supporter in Texas" donates to the Swift Vets, they throw a tantrum and cry "mommy."

Time to email the networks and demand the Dems release their ad funding sources. They've made it an issue, now they have to fess up.
