It was the award kerry submitted for when Gardner was present. He said the sampan incident. I am thinking it is a identical report everyone that served on the boat has a copy of in their navy files, although I could be wrong.

I would assume because Kerry wrote up a lot of BS Gardner is on record as saying never happened.

| IIRC, Gardner's point is that he was there "on the boat" with Kerry and knows exactly what happened and the report Kerry wrote doesn't reflect the incident as is actually happened..... |

After Action report for 44 boat on 20 Jan 69 where Kerry exaggerated KIA, called a woman and a baby captured combatants, and ignored the death of a young boy. This is known as the "Sampan Incident".
