I am a member of several other Internet forums of different topics that have avatars as an option. Any chance of enabling them here? I'll just bet `Swiftees' would get some VERY interesting choices from their members.

Any chance of explaining what an Avatar IS?
This is the only forum I'm a member of.

an avatar is nothing but a tiny picture you can include next to your name on the left side where your name and info is when you post something Wink

I would suggest we save the server for things that really mater. I do not see Avatar's as a need.

Just my $.02

You cant believe how many people pay fees to have an avatar on thier profile specially if it can be their own choice (avatar url link)

Just a thought for donations Wink

Sorry to rain on your parades.... Sad

The founders want to keep a straight-forward, businesslike atmosphere in here, without a lot of graphics, cartoons, avatars, emoticons, etc.

And honestly, we are sooooo busy just keeping up with posts that it would be a lot of extra work to monitor avatars for taste, "image becoming the mission," etc.

We have enough trouble with sig lines staying in bounds. Wink

We will kick it around though - thanks!

That kind of covers all the bases. Thanks to all for your inputs. Just a thought which IS only worth $0.02.

Very Happy Tweek
