If you would please mention to your bookstores. Tell them a little sign giving notice that they have a sign-up waiting list would be helpful.
I know that i personally keep going to the last store that had the book i wanted, and many folks will walk in and look, but if they don't see it, they won't be back.
It's just good business practice to try serving and retaining customers through good service...
Yes, i realize many stores are only getting 5 or 10 books at a time, but waiting lists will also help determine print demands.
