If you found one at a reasonable price, I'd be very surprised. eBay sold one for about $1,000 not long ago. Owners know it's a hot item since Kerry's people have tried to buy up every copy out there to hide it.
It's been a while ago now, but there was a thread where it was offered on CD.

Go to "Human Events Online" that's the magazine of the publisher. You should have it 3 days depending on chosen shippin method.

Best guess? They are probably doing it blatently illegally. They WANT Kerry to sue them for copyright violation. He won't of course because it would be a political disaster.

Ah, that explains a lot of it. They would have to go through Canadian copyright produres which would be a real pain in the posterior.
IMHO they are still probably breaking the law, but Kerry doesn't dare touch them.

My main worry would be to give them a card number and end up with it being a scam to get credit card numbers.

I have the book. If one checked out the copyright page, it is quite clear that Kerry doesn't own the copyright as the book is a compilation of many statements from veterans and the statement of Kerry's is what he said before Congress, already a matter of public record. The copyright is owned by Vietnam Veterans Against the War so it would be in their power to release it. (I believe that Kerry left the organization in 1972.) |

Oh, please. My local public library has a copy. It's out now, but was available earlier this summer. |
