I just finished fisking the latest offering from Brinkley - see my blog - http://antimedia.blogspot.com/2004/08/fisking-brinkley-again.html

Brinkley wrote an article for American History (magazine) entitled "John Kerry's Final Mission in Vietnam". In one paragraph Brinkley places Jim Rassman on "[his] Swift" boat, PCF-3, where "everybody was....wounded" in the mine explosion, and just three sentences later has Rassmann on PCF-94 where he is blown off by another "explosion".

He may be a history professor, and he may have a Doctorate, but what he hasn't got is a clue how to do research and he apparently swallowed Kerry's stories hook, line and sinker.

I would give a Freshman an F for such sloppy research.

Brinkley's a joke. He's got an exclusive deal with NBC and they are not asking him questions.

That book is so full of holes it's worthless.
