It seems that the majority of the Republican Party has a shyness or hesitancy to engage political half-truths, distortions, and misleading or evasive answers. Until the great majority of the American people stands up and demands straightforward answers to questions I am afraid we are destined to continue these rancid exchanges of political debate. The Democrats do not seem to exhibit this same reluctance to engage, which is what makes them effective.

Conservatives and Republicans decry the double standard when in fact it is because of their reluctance to demand this stop that the bias appears to be getting worse. How many continue to watch CBS, CNN, MSNBC, the Today Show? Sure Katie is cute, but if middle America would stop going to the studio at Rockefeller Center to get on TV and instead complain to the media bosses we would begin to get change.

Beginning today instead of pouting and steaming - write. Write your congressmen, senators (Republican or Democrat) and demand accountability. Do not accept their half answers, evasive answers, write back and back again until you get the answer you require. Demand that they present news and not partisan opinion. Stop with "A group with Republican Party or Administration ties" and when the shoe is on the other foot presenting the same without "A Group tied to the Democratic Party or Kerry campaign" and eventually you will get change.

Very good advice, rider. Well written.

However, please be advised this site is neither Democrat or Republican and does not endorse any political candidate as a group. Our mission is to expose John Kerry as unfit for command due to his largely fabricated history and his anti-war activites where he openly and knowlingly lied about US Servicemen in Vietnam.

Thanks
