He bends over for Kerry more than his personal coolie, Mr. Morton. He defends Kerry like it is his job. I think it might be, actually.

Anatomically part Oliphant and the other idiot from the Boston Globe keep thinking that Kerry will succeed now just has done in his other races...
They do not understand that that was in Massachussets, which is not a great have for veterans... This is being played out in front of 49 other states, most of which have many veterans, and that veterans,as a block are the largest voters in this country... He has lost probably close to 15% of the veteran vote. This approximates approximately 2 million votes...

Always checkin' to see if any Swiftees suddenly show up on these shows -- so I turned Scarborough on and saw OLIPHANT grinning away -- saw him singin the same creepy little song that he did with O'Neill a few days ago (god what John has had to put up with -- can you imagine sitting arms-length away from Oliphant? -- John's a saint!!). I guess the Kerry pets have been chosen -- seeing them all over the place (suppose cavett will start making the rounds now since he's shown his Kerry colors).
I turned the TV off as soon as I saw Oliphant -- it's only self-abuse to listen to him. I want to see OUR people!! I NEED to see our people!!!! Everyone is discussing the Swiftees without them. Where are they??? |

John O'Neill said on Rush's program that he knew what to expect from the media, since he had been through it in the 70's, but that the Swiftees were NOT ready for what was to come. People like Chrissy Matthews chew up and spit out the unprepared. John O can't handle them all, and with the recent demand, it has to be frustrating.
The word has gotten out with the first ad. The second ad speaks for itself. The media will suddenly STOP covering this because they know it is hurting Kerry. I believe John O knows this and has planned for that. The Republican Convention next week will take a lot of momentum away from the story. It will also be a good time for the Swiftees to get some rest, plan their appearances and then get ready for Round 2. |

OK, yes, I know their plan is deliberate and on-going, just needed a little reassurance in that moment....  The media will believe they've "dispensed with that nasty little problem" and there they will be with something new and surprising -- it's like I've told all the shows I've emailed on various points, the SBV (and we) aren't going away!! (but we know who is.....) |
