| Is it possible that Chris Matthews doesn't want to talk about the Cambodia story because he was somehow involved with Kerry's 1986 telling of the story to in order to fight aid to the Nicaraguan contras. At the time Matthews was a speechwriter and aid to Tip O'Neil and before that Jimmy Carter. Maybe Mathews helped embleish Kerry's story ? I have no proof, it is just a theory. |

as a theory it makes a lot of sense. It would also explain CMs rabid not wanting to talk about it.
I would suggest the next 5 or 6 pro-swiftee guests he has should bring it up.
I've never actually seem someone stroke out n tv, this could be a first.

| I know that day before Kerry spoke he was talking with Democratic aids and speechwriters about his speech. Almsot all politications have many advisors and speech writers go over every word before they make a speech. Matthews almost had a stroke last thursday.LOL |
