He's not going to get very far.
Texans, by in large, are not keen on people who support Kerry, in spite of what the DNC tried to portray in their little convention (Kerry made sure to point out the Texas group).
Cleland should know you don't go on another man's turf and try to make demands.

If your innocent argue the FACTS if your guilty argue the law. KERRY doesnt want to talk about facts just destroy the messenger. Bush should have Dole meet with Cleland anf reject the letter. Semper Fi.

I see that Cleland has Jim Rassman in tow. It's a two man (hopefully unsuccessful) mission to Texas.

We need some ex-POWs or SBVTs to go greet them - This woould make for some good press coverage.

This is sad. Max Cleeland served with honor and was horribly wounded. How he became an errand boy for John Kerry, a Naval officer who dishonored all vets and whose lies about atrocities were fed to our POWs in Hanoi by the North Vietnamese is hard to understand.

I don't understand it. Sad

Well said Ted...I couldn't agree more.

We can only hope it will be like that grenade he threw and come back to bite him in the butt. Twisted Evil

I think the circumstances surrounding Cleland's horrible injuries might help explain his mindset. He did serve honorably and has nothing to be ashamed of except directing his anger at the wrong people. Semper Fi.

Should Dumbo get elected (I'm leaving), you can bet Cleland, Rassman and other well behaved little boys will be working for Kerry in some capacity.

And, FYI, Kerry's first book that's either very expensive or unable to be found, is available on Ebay on CD-Rom Title is "The New Soldier" and item #6921991334 $10.00 Although I bought one, I can't endorse it or seller because I haven't received it yet. Text only, no pix.

Notice that Senator Max Clelan and Rassmann has shown up at Bush's Ranch as Kerry's attack dogs. If he feels he has to attack Bush, then let him go to the ranch. The news media is all over Clelan and Rassmann. This is not over by a long ways.

No excuses for people who defend traitors, Max Clelland can read "The New Soldier" and find out what John "Benedict Arnold" Kerry thinks about Vietnam Vets, the flag, Veterans day, the V.F.W., the legion, all our war monuments honoring our brave dead, including the brave soldiers who died on Iwo Jima. Max Clelland deserves no respect !

They got turned back by the secret service boys. Article & photo at link below:

"As veterans of the armed services, we ask that you recognize this blatant attempt at character assassination, and publicly condemn it," the senators said in their letter.

"Just because you are a character does not mean that you have character." from Harvey Keitel (Pulp Fiction)

Were the Senators referring to John "Benedict Arnold" Kerry's remarks about his beloved veterans before their body in '71? Oh I forgot He gets a free pass don't he?

Dont forget if Kerry (never happen) gets elected Ted (forget the dead vote for ted) will be one of his handlers. I hope they wear their tin foil hats at their fantasy swearing in ceremony. That reminds me, oaths of duty, honor and service dont mean any thing to him. Its ALL about him.
