He's all over the news in Pittsburgh area, since Monday (Aug 23). I suspect he got the phone call. Is it coincidence or me, but he didn’t start defending JK until then.

Who knows? I'd not accuse him of accepting a bribe, but as he hasn't exactly been forthcoming about WHY he supports Kerry, I guess some of that type of speculation is inevitable.
