Although I've not listened to Stern and Imus for several weeks, I could not help but wonder how these two yo yos feel now. They both joined the pro-Kerry bandwagon some time ago (Imus should be ashamed considering he's a former Marine albeit a self promoting pr_k) and the president's numbers have actually gone up. Stern must really be wondering: "You mean I really don't have any influence I thought I had?"

Imus was never a concern since his numbers have been in the toilet for years, but I actually had some conerns Stern might have some influence with his large audience. What I completely forgot about is that much of his audience does not get out of bed until after the noon hour, and I would guess his audience is not a large voting block. Also, I have a feeling his audience is not as pro-Kerry as he believes it is. Lot of vets listen to his show, and, like many, dig a lot of the humor. However, they probably draw the line when it comes to Stern's political comments.
