President Bush's ANG service is again being questioned. I did a Google search for F102 accident history and found a very interesting page. Unfortunately, the original site is now "Members Only" - they were apparently being swamped by hits. Luckily, the page is catched. I have made a PDF file of the page (about 500KB), if you'd like a copy PM me.

Bump...

President Bush is still getting knocked around on his ANG service. The F102 was a dangerous plane to fly. The pdf file I have also has a lot more info on his ANG service. PM me with your email address if you want a copy.

Military flying is dangerous period. My Grandfather was career Air Force . . . flew P-51's in WWII, SabreJets in Korea, RB-66's later on . . . my Mother grew up an AF brat and she talks about seeing the chaplain visiting neighbors houses because one of the pilots was killed in the line of duty, often in a training accident. I know that my Grandfather would not look down on Bush ANG service at all . . . but he would take a dim view of the political opportunism and self serving behavior of Kerry.

Most people, when presented with the straight facts, don't fall for those silly attacks on Bush. On the whole I think those that continue to harp on that non-issue are doing more harm for Kerry than good.

My Dad is a Vietnam Vet . . . all I can say is I haven't seen him so thoroughly detest someone like he does Kerry since hanoi jane tried her silly little apology way back when. He has real purple hearts.
