Why is there handwriting on the 13 MAr 69 Spot Report?

Is this common?

Why the underlining?

Why are there additional details not included in the original?

This could be completely innocuous Wink but I was just wondering.

Has the spot report been found? All I have seen so far is the message from HQ citing the wording of the spot report. I know that the Kerry folks are trying to pull the wool over the voter's eyes by calling a message from higher HQ to the participants a "spot report". Those in the know know the difference.

It's here.

The 28 Feb 69 Spot report is nowhere to be seen.

I think have the Feb 28-69 spot report. Problem is, it is in a pdf. file and I really dont know how to transfer this file. All suggestions of help are
welcome.

Being a non-military person, I'm still trying to learn how to read spot reports. But, from the 35 pages I have, compared to the one I saw here,
something sure looks strange to me. For one thing, it's really hard to determine who wrote the spot report. Anyway, if someone is willing to
advise me on how to get the file here, I would be happy to share.

God Bless you all !

Are you sure you have the 28 Feb or the 27 Feb?

Yes I am sure. In fact I have both.....Feb 27 and Feb 28.

Feb.28 includes what I believe is known as a "bravo" report from Adrmiral Zumwalt and casualty reports. I can't be sure who wrote
some of the sport reports, but I will say that the Feb. 28 report, reeks
of the same flowery verbage used by Kerry in other places.

I've been very interested in ALL original paperwork reagrding these issues.....which by the way, I first found here on this forum. As I began
to read more, it wasnt long before I found an abundance of information found by others who, like me believe that the Swiftboat veteran are the
greates people in the world.

Some of the other documents I found that have been helpful in "connecting the dots" ......documentation of Kerry being 13 days late when reporting to Camh Ranh Bay. ( no explanation given ) ....pdf file
stating where each swiftboat was on any given day. All this information,
along with reading Unfit For Command, has proven to me without a doubt,
that Kerry not on "embellished" his service, he flat out lied. I have a bit
of an analytical mind, and when dates, numbers and names that should match....don't match, I start looking at "original paperwork ...line by line".

By the way.....the pdf files are very difficult to read on a screen. I was
totally amazed how clear they are when printed. From my observation,
there are hand written corrections. Just my opinion though.

Well sorry to say but if he was such a fine "officer" just why the

hell was he not on the "horn" demanding an "air strike" or

a reaction force. He calims there were all these VC hemed up

against the bank of the river shooting at him and the others for

a min of 1 hr. so if that were true the bad ass helo's would have

KIA many many VC and there support.

WHEN THE REPORT DOES NOT FIT YOU MUST CONVICT.

other than that have a nice day john kerry,
sorry about the bad dreams.

I think what you do have is the Bravo response, and not the Spot Report. If it came from the Kerry website, I am pretty sure that's what you have. If you'll look farther up the page on the pdf file, you'll see a reoprt for 27 Feb, but not for 28 Feb. A lot of us want to get our hands on the 28 Feb Spot.

Thanks for the reply. In case my note was confusing, the "bravo" was
included with other Feb 28 reports. It's still very hard for me to decipher all the lingo in the reports.....I'm beginning to feel like a code breaker, LOL, but have to admit I've really learned a lot.

I'm going to try to put the link for my pdf file here and hope it works, since I'm sure someone here will be able to tell if this Feb 28 report will help. There is so much documentation on the net now, I really don't recall where I retreived this....but just hope it might help. If we all just
keep digging and communicating with each other, we'll get to the bottom of all this.

Swiftsocks

What that pdf contains is the Zumwalt communication, along with the casualty report for 28 Feb, but not the Spot Report.

It has the Spot Report for 27 Feb but for 28 Feb

regards

I am pretty sure.

Check to see if you can find any action described for 28 Feb 69.
